Shape-it.org is an exciting community programme based around a Community Web Portal. It was initially funded until December 2006 by European Union Objective 1 and Rhondda Cynon Taf Local Regeneration Funds and brought £4.2m of investment into the region. It has now been mainstreamed into Rhondda Cynon Taf Councils IT department and has joined up with Merthyr Tydfil County Council to carry the project through to this area.
